Welcome to Kaneville * A land where only Dolls dwell.

Christy Kane started her doll making journey in 1996 in search of the perfect subjects to photograph for the stories she was writing. After creating her life-size dolls for her stories, she fell in love with doll making and embroidery and started making small dolls with their own stories to tell. She’s been stitching ever since! Each doll is one of a kind, hand embroidered and stitched with love.
Her first book “Tales of the Sisters Kane” a collection of cautionary tales with lessons learned by each of the dolls was published in 2006.
She also created a soundtrack for the book with a song for each of the dolls entitled “Songs of the Sisters Kane".
Her work has been featured in publications including Flaunt and Art Doll Quarterly.
Her dolls and photography have been shown in galleries in New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Austin to name a few.
Christy is currently making new dolls, Illustrating a doll alphabet and creating anything else her talking teapot tells her is a good idea.
She resides in Wonderland with her Loving husband, fur babies and doll daughters.
